Parent Council

Parent Council

 The Green Acres Parent Council is made up of interested parents or guardians of children attending the school, who want to have a voice in what is happening, or simply keep abreast of new developments Province- wide, Division- wide and within our own schools.

Membership in the Green Acres Parent Council is open to all parents, guardians or caretakers of children attending the school as well as teachers and administrators of the Green Acres School.
Voting rights, however, are limited to members having children attend the school.

At the AGM on May 8, 2023 a merge of the Parent Council and Lunch Program took place by an all in favour vote.

Attending meetings will provide the opportunity to get acquainted with your principal, teachers and other parents , and to find out what is happening in today's education system.

These meetings are for information for your child and any input you may have is openly welcome.
