Bridges

Bridges Instructor/Elder

Bridges will focus on increasing self-esteem through pride in one's self and one's culture. Students will learn to value their contribution to this society, this community, this school. We will reinforce back to the basics in cultural values and healthy lifestyles and choices. Together we will explore some of the cultural beliefs and values from the communities our students originate from. We will look at current issues such as racism, negative stereotypes, discipline, accountability, responsibility and excellence.

Elder Services

Elder Services is available for all students in the school. Elders teach about the vision of life that is contained in the first Nation philosophies and handed down in ceremonies and traditional teachings.
