Information for Student Parent Teacher Conferences
2024-2025 Semester One:
REPORT CARDS:
Report cards will be handed out to students at their next homeroom meeting on November 8th, 2024. Parents can also view grades on the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL:
We encourage all parents to join the PowerSchool Parent Portal, it’s the #1 way to stay connected! The portal can be used to view your student’s:
- Attendance
- Grades
- Missing Assignments
- Daily School Announcements
Attached are instructions to help you create an account or add a student to your existing account. You will need your student’s access ID and access password, which the main office can provide either by calling 204-729-3170 or emailing vincentmassey@bsd.ca. The website is: https://brandon.powerschool.com/public/.
PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES:
This semester Parent Teacher Conferences will take place Thursday, November 14th 5-7 pm and Friday, November 15th 9:00am – 3:30pm. We are using PTCFast.com to make signups for Parent Teacher Conferences as convenient as possible. To book an appointment please enter the following web address into your browser window: https://ptcfast.com/schools/Vincent_Massey_2
You will be pleased to see that there are various times/days that you can choose from. Once you’ve booked your conference times, the teachers will receive a notification. Please note, you do not need to book a time with your child’s home room teacher as they only see them a few times a semester.
Please book your conference time by November 12th, bookings close at 4:00 pm. This deadline will allow teachers the time to prepare for all of their bookings.

Please note:
- Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings will be scheduled through a separate process as they involve a teaming aspect.
- EAL meetings will be scheduled through the EAL Resource team to accommodate interpreters.
