UPCOMING EVENTS & DATES 

It’s time to order your 2024-2025 yearbook! Go to school cash online on the Massey website, or you can pay with cash or cheque in the office. It’s $45 for a yearbook or $48 for it engraved with your name. Yearbooks are on sale until Feb 28^th. 

Grad photos will be in the library this week. 

Grade 9 students who want more information about Advanced Placement courses and credits: there will be an optional AP information session on Friday, Feb 28 at 12:30 in Room 36. Students in grades 10 and 11– if you’re looking for info on AP course planning, your optional AP info session is Thursday, Feb 27 at 12:30 in Room 36.

Students interested in learning more about the High School Apprenticeship Program– there will be an apprenticeship information meeting on Tuesday, Feb 25 at lunch. Check-in at the Career Centre for more info.

EXTRA CURRICULAR CLUBS

Do you have a crafting hobby and skill that you'd like to share with others? Come join the Vincent Massey Craft Club! Get together with other students on Fridays to work on projects like crocheting, knitting, beading, and more! For more info or to sign up, send Mrs. Chyzyk a message on Teams!

The Entrepreneurship Club is running a contest! There are two prizes of a $50 gift voucher for the NEW Viking Vault website. Find directions of how to win this prize on the VM Entrepreneurship Club Instagram page.

Students interested in participating in the Viking Hike Club outing to the Riverbank Discovery Center on Wednesday, February 26 can still submit their waivers to Ms. Reimer in Room 23 until the end of the school day today.

Chess Club will be meeting today at lunch in Room 23. See you there!

SPORTS

Interested in learning to play Girls Rugby or come back as a returning player. Hone your skills during open gym on Sundays from 4–5:30pm starting this week. See Ms. Pitcairn in the theatre for more information.

The Boys Rugby team will begin indoor practices here at Massey on Sundays between 1 and 3pm. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Smith in room 40.

Congratulations to the grade 9 girls basketball team for capturing the city championship 40-31 over crocus. Great job to all players this season!

Reminder to always lock your lockers!  

The school has a scent free policy, no perfumes, no colognes, no scented sprays of any kind. We have people in the building with allergies, please be respectful.
